Ann Prett married Robert Auchterlony (See Ref. K3) at Kettle, Fife 28.12.1787.

Prett Lindsay family

We think Ann Prett was the girl baptised 10.4.1768 at Scoonie, Fife, the daughter of John Prett and his wife Agnes Lindsay.   This couple married at Kettle 2.6.1765.  Agnes was said to be of the Parish while John was of Scoonie, which adjoins Kettle.  A Robert Lindsay of Monimail was recorded as a cautioner, i.e. as standing surety, presumably on Agnes’ behalf.

Ann Prett had an older brother John baptised at Scoonie 6.4.1766 and younger brothers David (3.3.1770) and Robert (1777).

There was a John Prett baptised 2.6.1745 at Monimail, Fife, the son of David Prett.
