Our interest in the Pettinger family stems from Elizabeth Pettinger, who married David Sealand at Haxey 6.10.1624. He was Mike’s 8gr-grandfather. For the Sealand family story see Ref Y 2121.
David and Elizabeth had seven children, details being given at Appendix 1 hereto.
We do not know the origins of either spouse.
Elizabeth Pettinger was buried at Haxey 6.11.1619 and William likewise 17.12.1624.
